Offshore oil & gas systems are being developed with greater water depths, higher pressures and temperatures, and more complex fluid systems. Subsea processing equipment and pipelines often require insulation to maintain fluid temperatures above the point where hydrate or paraffin formation can occur, resulting in restricted or blocked flow and reduced production.
Today, subsea oil and gas systems being developed are becoming more and more challenging with greater water depths, higher pressures and temperatures, and more complex fluid systems. Subsea processing equipment and pipelines often require insulation to maintain fluid temperatures above the point where hydrate or paraffin formation can occur.
